Frequently Asked Questions:
How much does your grooming service cost?
Our prices are based on pet's that are groomed regularly and in good conditions, also is based on size, breed, coat type and
temperament, at the time of arrival you will be able to discuss all your need with us. You’ll get the most accurate quote if we can assess your pet in person. You can give us a call and we will discuss.
Why do you not quote me an exact price over the phone?
I can give you a general quote of what it might cost, but until I see what size the dog is,
what shape the coat and skin are in, it’s hard to give an exact price.
Can I stay with my dog and watch?
Our grooming areas are visible behind glass. However, if your dog can see you, this usually leads to the dog trying to be
with you and can result in a dangerous condition. The groomer is working with sharp tools and looks to avoid additional stress and excitement.
What is your appointment policy?
We recommend booking your appointment in advance and if for some reason you need to cancel it please try to call us one day.
How long does it usually take?
We ask that you allow a minimum of three to four hours but the whole process is based in size conditions on the coat, temperament.
We do offer Express Grooming for animals that are very anxious, there is an additional fee for this service.
How often should my pet be groomed?
It depends on the Breed and conditions of the coat, standard time for most Breeds are 4 to 6 weeks.
Do you bathe groom cats?
Yes we do.
When should I start getting my puppy groomed?
We recommend to start grooming your puppy by the four month after
the first set of vaccinations, the sooner you start grooming your pup will get
used to the process.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, you have to be on our mailing list to know about our promotions.
How do you deal with pet anxiety?
Few pets have severe anxiety. We understand this stress for the pet and
offer an opportunity to schedule an appointment specifically to cater to your
pet’s specific needs.
Will my dog be muzzled?
If your pet shows signs of biting, for his safety and ours, we will put
a muzzle on your pet. Most pets have certain things they don’t like done, but
are fine with everything else so we usually don’t need it the whole time and
will only leave it on when it’s absolutely necessary.
Will my pet be sedated?
We do have a couple of dogs whose owners give them something before
they bring them in to calm them, but I will NEVER sedate your pet, that's a
procedure that has to be performed by a veterinarian only.
